Walton Family Foundation Grants $700,000 to EforAll Northwest Arkansas

Foundation to fund two years of EforAll’s English and Spanish language programs to support inclusive entrepreneurship

ARKANSAS – September 21, 2022 Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), the nonprofit whose mission is to accelerate economic and social impact through inclusive entrepreneurship, today announced the Walton Family Foundation’s  financial support of EforAll’s Northwest Arkansas site for an additional two years. The $700,000 grant will be used to support the organization’s English and Spanish language entrepreneurship program operations in 2023 and 2024 – a testament to the strength of the organizations’ partnership and mission to foster meaningful change and serve under-represented entrepreneurs as they start and grow their businesses.

Since the launch of its Northwest Arkansas site in March 2021, EforAll and its Spanish language offering, EparaTodos, have helped launch 28 businesses in the region, of which 88% are women owned and 74% are BIPOC owned.

“As EforAll works to lower barriers to drive inclusive entrepreneurship throughout Northwest Arkansas, we want to thank business and community leaders who have supported the program’s growth in our first year,” said Rodrigo Salas, Executive Director at EforAll Northwest Arkansas.

EforAll supports aspiring entrepreneurs through its yearlong business accelerator programs and pitch contests, which are offered in both English and Spanish. These programs offer unique immersive business training, dedicated mentorship from local business and community leaders, and access to a large professional network – along with the opportunity to win seed money.

EforAll’s Northwest Arkansas Winter 2023 Business Accelerator program starts in January 2023, with applications due October 27. To learn more about EforAll and its Northwest Arkansas programs, please visit www.eforall.org/ar/northwest-arkansas.
