It’s watching that light bulb moment when an entrepreneur is no longer looking for validation, they simply have an idea and can see the opportunity to advance it.

A vibrant grassroots ecosystem helps communities thrive. Each of our EforAll sites engages 200+ volunteers to assist in supporting the entrepreneurs that participate in our Accelerator Programs and Pitch Contests. We have several volunteer opportunities for you to choose from and would love to speak with you more about how you can be involved.
Accelerator Mentors come from a variety of backgrounds and use their business and leadership experience to guide new entrepreneurs through the process of turning their idea into a growing business. Mentors work in teams of three and are matched with an entrepreneur based on schedule availability and desire to work together. The team meets as a group to help reaffirm topics and themes raised during classes while also strategizing with the entrepreneur to reach their specific goals during the program. This is a high-touch year-long commitment. Mentor teams have 90-minute (currently online) meetings for 3 months and then meet once a month for the following 9 months.

One way that we are able to ensure fairness and balance among Pitch Contest and Accelerator applicants is by having individuals volunteer their time to review and score applications from entrepreneurs. Constructive feedback to early-stage entrepreneurs is critical to their growth and overall success. This is done remotely, time commitment is flexible, and offered several times per year. This is a great way to plug into the creative energy of the community.
Community leaders and business professionals participate in interviews to help EforAll decide which applicants will be a good fit for the Accelerator Program. Interviewers and staff will meet online with applicants for 30 minutes each to ask questions and provide feedback to the applicant. Interviewers can commit to a 2 hour time block or more if available!
EforAll took us from a concept, naive hopes and ambitions, to an actual company.
Specialists are highly knowledgeable in a particular field and lead a workshop-style session in the Accelerator Program guided by EforAll’s curriculum. Sessions are conducted online with the Accelerator Cohort and EforAll staff and are between 1-2 hours.
In conjunction with the Accelerator Curriculum, entrepreneurs may need guided help with specific topics. This can be done online, through one-on-one or small group sessions with a specialist that is available for “office hours.”
EforAll offers business-related workshops for entrepreneurs in the community. This is a great way to engage with entrepreneurs in different stages of their business.
