The Hippie Bean Co.’s founder, Remy Collins, founded the company during the pandemic when she found herself out of work as a bartender and started tie-dyeing some baby rompers. Her first batch of twenty rompers sold out online in 20 minutes!

She applied for the 2022 Winter Business Accelerator in Lynn because she was feeling lost and couldn’t figure out her next step. “I needed to know where to go and how to make my business official,” she recalls. She wanted to develop sales channels beyond social media, get more involved with the community and attend pop-up events.

She loved all the people she met in the Accelerator, saying, “Even though we all had different types of businesses, it was so nice to connect with other entrepreneurs who simply understand all the hard work that goes into running a business.”

With her mentors’ help, she applied for different small business grants and pop-up events. They supported her with her business and helped her build her self-confidence to a new level.

Remy has participated in more than 50 events in MA and NH since she completed the Accelerator. She is continuing to expand,  including bigger bulk orders locally and internationally. “EforAll gave me self-validation that I have never had in my whole life. It really made me dig deep and find the root as to why I started this business and showed that my hard work will and has paid off,” said Remy.
