What made you want to become a mentor?
The incredible support I received as an EforAll alum inspired me to become a mentor. The program provided me with the tools, confidence, and community needed to grow my bilingual yoga business. With over 20 years of experience in higher education and a passion for helping others, I wanted to give back and support fellow entrepreneurs on their journeys. I deeply believe in the power of mentorship and I’m excited to help others bring their ideas to life.

Is there a specific mentoring experience that you are most proud of?
One mentoring experience I’m especially proud of was working with an entrepreneur who had a wealth of ideas but needed support in organizing them into clear short- and long-term goals. Through regular check-ins and thoughtful conversations, she gained clarity, built confidence, and created a plan tailored to her vision. She fully embraced the process, applied the knowledge she gained throughout the program, and completed the accelerator with great success.

What do you think makes EforAll special?
I think what makes EforAll special is the strong commitment to inclusivity and its dedication to empowering entrepreneurs by providing support, training, and resources needed to help them reach their fullest potential. It also fosters a welcoming environment where people from diverse backgrounds can access mentorship, gain confidence, and bring their business ideas to life successfully.

What advice would you have for entrepreneurs?
My advice to entrepreneurs is to stay curious and open to learning, especially when things don’t go as planned. Building a business is a journey full of challenges and opportunities, so adaptability and persistence are key. It’s also important to build a strong support system—surround yourself with people who believe in you and can offer guidance along the way. Most importantly, stay connected to your passion and purpose; they will keep you grounded and motivated through every twist and turn.
