Program Manager, EforAll South Coast
After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a Victims Services concentration from Bridgewater State College, Samia worked as a Domestic Violence Advocate with the New Bedford Police Department. There, she grew a passion for helping people progress into a better situation by learning how to help themselves. As an alumnus of EforAll South Coast, Samia is excited to contribute to such an important
part of her community in her role as Program Manager. Her unique and intricate perspective of the accelerator program will offer future entrepreneurs the support and guidance to help their businesses flourish, especially through adversity. She has proven that through her acceptance of the honorable Christina Hamilton Award. Born and raised in New Bedford, and now a new wife, mother, and homeowner, Samia is grounded here and is invested in helping the New Bedford/Fall River communities reach their full potential through the people who live and own businesses. Through her own non-profit organization, Doodles Creative Sessions, which hosts pop-up art parties with the focus oncreative freedom, she has built strong networking relationships that will accentuate her passion for inclusive communities. She remains active in her community through local non-profit organizations that focus on the youth, such as Third EyE Youth Empowerment, New Bedford
Historical Society, and Black Girl Magic.
