Providing Necessities to Kids In Need

Kids Com-uni-ty R.I is a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved youth by providing them with free necessities such as clothes, toiletries, food, and laundry cards. Its founder, Taina Lee, was driven to start this organization to help these kids avoid the hardships she herself experienced as a child. 

Tania knew she needed to learn more about business to make her nonprofit successful and decided to apply for the Summer 2022  Business Accelerator in Rhode Island, “I needed to learn how to write a business plan and handle the financial aspects of my business,” she recalls. 

She credits her mentors with helping her stay on track and supporting her dream.  

Since graduating from EforAll, Taina has successfully launched her pilot program at 360 High School in Providence, done two radio interviews, and is working on new partnerships for the upcoming school year. “EforAll helped me see that no dream is impossible to achieve!”
