Department: Program Experience

Job Summary

The Program Experience Associate position will expand the capacity of our Program Experience team dedicated to optimizing the program experience of our entrepreneurs and volunteers during our Business Accelerator program and Pitch Contests. The role will help ensure a strong delivery of the Business Accelerator Program in English and Spanish across all 19 programs in 5 states. This position will also perform training for new staff on the curriculum of our Business Accelerator program. This position requires a self-motivated person that enjoys working on specific tasks for defined timelines that require excellent attention to detail. 

The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working both independently and in a team environment. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required. Using different software programs and tools the Program Experience Associate helps the organization prepare the steps for program cycles, such as curriculum updates, schedules, surveys, language accuracy for materials in both languages, and other special projects. This position reports directly to the Director of Program Experience, will support the Program Experience team, and will work closely with the Operations and Tech teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Create the Business Accelerator schedule for each season (winter, spring, summer, and fall) 
  • Maintain training materials in the Google Drive for the Business Accelerator program, including slide decks, worksheets, spreadsheets, and other supporting documents for entrepreneurs and volunteers. 
  • Setting up Google Classroom (class content management) or Learning Management System for all Business Accelerators across sites
  • Review materials in both languages and maintain a relationship with translating company used for translating educational materials. 
  • Support data organization from surveys for entrepreneurs and mentors
  • Provide support for Entrepreneur Manager on activities related to working with different stakeholders to improve components of the curriculum and overall experience.
  • Work directly with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Consultants to set up and maintain the training process for our entrepreneurs and mentors.
  • Work directly with Training Manager to maintain and update training materials and communicate updates for new and existing staff. 
  • Train new staff on the Business Accelerator curriculum 
  • Monitor the Mentor handbook signing process
  • Support the Program Experience team on new projects and initiatives

Characteristics & Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual Spanish required – Excellent written and oral communication
  • Interested in entrepreneurship 
  • College Associate degree 
  • 1 year of administrative experience 
  • Experience with Google suite products, specifically Slides, Sheets, and Forms, and comfortable learning new software
  • Experience using zoom and other video conferencing platforms
  • Training skills
  • Take initiative as a self-starter 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment 

YOUR WORK HOURS 

Regular work hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM with the ability to work some evenings a month to attend programs and events. 

Because this position is integral to the success of all programs we provide to our entrepreneurs, the work hours are dynamic. Please keep in mind that many of our programs run during the evening hours on a consistent schedule to make them accessible to the majority of the community. 

OUR PAY 

Salary commensurate with experience; Full benefits for full-time work; Great networking and professional development.

Salary ranges from $58,000 to $65,000
