FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: SBA AWARDS EFORALL ANOTHER $50,000 AS PART OF GROWTH ACCELERATOR FUND; EFORALL EXPANDS PROGRAMMING IN LYNN
Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), headquartered in Lowell, MA, has been awarded $50,000 from the Small Business Administration (SBA) as part of their Growth Accelerator Fund competition. EforAll is the only Massachusetts winner from this program, and also is the only MA grantee to win this award two times. EforAll will be using the $50,000 grant to help expand EforAll’s nationally recognized Spanish language business accelerator program, EparaTodos, to the city of Lynn.
David Parker, EforAll CEO says: “We at Entrepreneurship for All are thrilled to win $50,000 a second time from The Small Business Administration. We look forward to working with the SBA to further Spanish entrepreneurship through our EparaTodos program in Lawrence, Lynn, and other Massachusetts cities.”
Janin Duran, Executive Director of EparaTodos Lowell-Lawrence says: “EparaTodos is a vital program for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs, helping them launch a wide variety of business ideas. EparaTodos will use the SBA funds to create a version of the Lawrence program that will work in Lynn and hopefully many more cities across the country.”
Bob Nelson, District Director of the SBA in MA says: “Congratulations to Entrepreneurship for All and their EparaTodos program for being 1 of just 20 winners nationally in the 2017 Growth Accelerator Fund competition. The SBA in Massachusetts is excited to support EparaTodos and Spanish entrepreneurship in Lawrence, Lynn, and elsewhere across the Commonwealth with a goal of helping underserved small businesses to start, grow and create jobs in the community.”
Congressman Seth Moulton, who was involved in bringing EforAll to Lynn and as well in encouraging the SBA to award this grant, said, “Congratulations to EforAll and EparaTodos for receiving this exciting SBA grant. There are hundreds if not thousands of entrepreneurs in Lynn looking for a program like EparaTodos to help them turn their ideas into businesses. This is great news for the continued development of the city of Lynn”

EforAll’s EparaTodos program is one of the first Spanish language accelerators in the country.

– Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) – EforAll accelerates economic and social impact through inclusive entrepreneurship in mid-sized cities. EforAll believes that the best way to revitalize mid- sized U.S. cities that have fallen into decline, and suffer related high rates of poverty and unemployment, is to fuel the dreams and ambitions of entrepreneurs who live in and near these cities. We believe that they understand their city and its problems better than anyone else and have ideas and solutions with the potential to make their city prosper once again while they create their own pathway out of poverty.
