What made you want to become a mentor?
I spent the second half of my career at several tech startups. Entrepreneurial life is exciting—and yes, scary—but I love the journey, especially the people you meet along the way. I wanted to share my experiences and serve as a sounding board for future entrepreneurs.

What is your favorite part of being an EforAll mentor?
The best part is spending time getting to know the entrepreneurs. It’s a very special group of people. I love the passion and dedication they show in building their dream businesses.

What do you think makes EforAll special?
Entrepreneurs receive a mini-MBA–like experience. Combined with one-on-one time with talented mentors, it’s truly unique.

What advice would you have for entrepreneurs?
You’re going to experience highs and lows along the journey. Stay focused and stay centered. Take it one step at a time and try not to get too far ahead of yourself. Building a business is a game of “base hits.” Set aggressive but realistic goals, and take time to celebrate successes along the way. And—have fun.

What would you say to someone considering becoming a mentor with EforAll?
Being a mentor for EforAll has been a highlight of my professional life. If you enjoy helping passionate people who are serious about building a business, join the team.

How has being a mentor impacted you personally or professionally?
Being a mentor has allowed me to share my professional experiences and help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams. It really warms my heart to share in their excitement. I learn as much from them as they do from me—what’s better than that?
