Holyoke’s EforAll entrepreneurship effort offers Spanish-language cohort: Outlook 2022

In 2018, Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) was launched in Holyoke, changing the lives of business owners. And, today, it continues to grow and evolve, now meeting the community’s needs more than ever.

Its new program, EparaTodos, is a Spanish-language curriculum that was first available in the summer of 2020. EforAll is a free, one-year program that offers applicants business training, mentorship and networking.

“We have many folks in Western Massachusetts who are bilingual, and sometimes it’s easier to learn in your native language,” said Tessa Murphy-Romboletti, executive director for Holyoke’s EforAll program. “It’s been amazing to engage the Spanish-speaking community to make sure we’re helping folks not typically represented in economic development.”

It took Western Massachusetts’ EforAll one year to get EparaTodos off the ground, and, despite complications around COVID-19, they had 25 applicants for their first, all virtual session.
