Helping Young Professionals is Her Passion
Amy Mosher Berry has over 20 years of community, workforce, and business development experience. During the pandemic, she was put on leave and decided to take a leap of faith. In 2020 she founded Visions Internships, which bridges the gap between purpose-driven young professionals seeking meaningful real-world experience and “do-good” organizations needing project support.
She presented her business idea at the Greater Worcester Pitch Contest, where she won third place and a $750 prize. She also learned about the Summer 2021 Business Accelerator and decided to apply. She loved being surrounded by other like-minded entrepreneurs and was looking forward to learning more about getting her business to the next level.
It is no surprise that her favorite part of the program ended up being the relationships she built with the cohort. “I was very inspired by my colleagues and the conversations we had. Our cohort was a powerhouse!” recalls Amy.
Since graduating from EforAll, 19 young professionals have gone through the Visions Internships Program, and its fifth cohort will start this summer. And Amy was able to use the grant money she was awarded in the Accelerator to finalize her federal trademark application submission. Amy is excited about her business, saying, “EforAll helped me survive the leap. I’m very grateful I did the program.”
