Helping Nonprofits Fulfill their Mission is her Business

Debbi Mallinson is the founder and CEO of Magic Lamp Consulting, which provides small to mid-sized nonprofits with business development services to increase funding, deepen stakeholder relationships and expand community impact.  Debbi decided to start her own business after working as a part-time grant writer and volunteering for several nonprofits.  

A firm believer in lifelong learning, Debbi joined the Summer 2021 Business Accelerator in Greater Worcester just after starting her business. “I was looking forward to meeting other people going through the same thing, being as driven as I was.” Indeed, the relationships she built with others in her cohort remain active and thriving today.

Magic Lamp Consulting has continued to enjoy outstanding growth!  In both 2021 and 2022,  Debbi doubled her revenues. And her clients couldn’t be happier.  With Debbi’s help, her clients have collectively raised $3.3M in 2022 versus $1.6M in 2021, allowing her to expand her services and hire nine employees to handle the demand!  Debbi gives a lot of credit to the Accelerator, saying, “EforAll gave me structure. When you commit to the program, you’re committing to your business and yourself,” she said.
