Entrepreneurship for All, a national nonprofit startup accelerator, has received a $25,000 grant from The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts to increase its capacity to support Greater Worcester inclusive entrepreneurship, including its Spanish-speaking business accelerator program.
EforAll and its Spanish-language EparaTodos are accelerator programs for underserved entrepreneurs and feature no-cost business classes and mentoring.
“The Health Foundation recognizes the potential of entrepreneurship to contribute to financial stability and good health, and we are pleased to support EforAll’s efforts to expand its capacity and impact in Central Massachusetts, especially through its new EparaTodos offering,” said Amie Shei, president and CEO of The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts, said in the Tuesday press release announcing the funding.
The first EparaTodos cohort in the Greater Worcester area is underway with 10 Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs. Both English and Spanish-language accelerators are offered starting twice a year for yearlong programming. EforAll hosts pitch contests for small cash prizes and feedback.
