When the pandemic hit, Cheyvonne Heywood and Jennie Petit saw their Boston community struggling with health concerns and access to reliable wellness information. They launched Lyme Lyfe, a Caribbean-inspired juice company offering natural, additive-free beverages that promote healing. With pickup and delivery options, Lyme Lyfe quickly became a local favorite, providing a healthier alternative to sugary drinks while emphasizing overall wellness and well-being.

Their journey with EforAll started when they stumbled upon a pitch competition while searching for funding opportunities. Winning that competition led them to the Business Accelerator program, where they gained valuable insight into the business side of their passion. “Meeting your peers, people who are in the same situation as you—it reminds you that you’re not alone,” Cheyvonne shared. The biggest takeaway for her was understanding the financial foundation of running a successful business.

The program played a major role in helping them refine their pricing strategy, plan for overhead costs, and approach business with a long-term vision. “Before EforAll, I wasn’t thinking about things that would help my business grow,” Cheyvonne admitted. Now, they’re equipped with the tools to build a sustainable business, selling their products online and running several pop-up events every month.
