Akua Rose, the founder of Akua Rose Consulting LLC, is on a mission to help Black women heal and thrive. Her business, which offers coaching, training, and wellness products, is rooted in her own experiences as a Black woman navigating life’s challenges. Akua’s passion for empowering others led her to focus on wellness from a place of authenticity, a space where Black women, in particular, often face unique struggles.
Before joining the EforAll Business Accelerator, Akua felt her business lacked structure despite years of experience. “I wanted a clear path for my business, to stop feeling all over the place, and to gain more direction,” she explained. The mentorship and guidance she received were crucial to her success, keeping her accountable and focused. The program allowed her to refine her approach and create a cohesive business offering.
One of the most valuable lessons Akua took from EforAll was understanding the true value of her work, adjusting her pricing as she learned that she was undervaluing her services.
Akua’s business continues to expand, delivering roughly five trainings and workshops each month. She has even published a book and couldn’t be happier, saying: “Thanks to EforAll, I could see my worth and make changes to support long-term success.
