Empowering Women One Workshop at a Time

Jamiliah Paschal-Smith, drawing from her past experience as a single mother, understands the importance of providing women with community and support. She founded Sister Is Fine, LLC, a business that organizes workshops, offers an intensive program, and sells affirming products to assist women on their journeys.

Jamiliah initially struggled with the business aspects of running Sister Is Fine, especially scaling her offerings. Scrolling through social media, she found the EforAll Virtual Business Accelerator program and felt a spark. “I wanted expert advice in areas I struggled with and a network that would hold me accountable,” she explained.

Throughout the program, Jamiliah’s accountability and the feedback from her mentors and cohort helped her focus and refine her goals, especially regarding financial forecasting and managing growth. She noted, “The program helped me realize the potential of my business.”

Since graduation, Jamiliah has launched virtual courses, hired a part-time employee to manage social media, and is preparing for an 8-week intensive program in early 2025. She is also partnering with nonprofits to expand her reach and has gained recognition through speaking engagements. “EforAll made it possible for me to stop, recalibrate, and figure out how my business can have maximum impact on my community. It’s a beautiful program,” Jamiliah shared.
