NEW BEDFORD, Mass. – Oct. 13, 2021 –  The nonprofit Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), whose mission is to accelerate economic and social impact in the communities it serves through inclusive entrepreneurship, today announced the promotion of Samia Walker, former EforAll South Coast Program Manager, to Executive Director. This promotion comes after Walker’s successful three-year run with the organization, where she has played a key role in building partnerships in the community, giving support to entrepreneurs, and strengthening relationships with hundreds of volunteers.

Walker is also a graduate of the EforAll South Coast Accelerator Program where she focused on gaining the business skills and support needed to help her run her own nonprofit, Doodles Creative Sessions. Today, Doodles hosts pop-up art parties and colorful yoga series that help kids explore creative freedom along with games and exercises to increase self-awareness and inner calm.

“Samia has been a valuable asset to the team since she joined in 2018,” said Shelley Cardoos, COO at EforAll. “Her passion and commitment to the South Coast is outstanding and we cannot wait to see what she will accomplish as executive director.”

A lifelong resident of New Bedford, Walker is actively involved in organizations such as The Communal Space and 3rd EyE Youth Empowerment, BuyBlack NB, and the New Bedford Historical Society.
