Founder of The Dropout Academy and award-winning mental health advocate joins the team

ROXBURY, Mass. – June 22, 2022 – The nonprofit Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), whose mission is to accelerate economic and social impact in the communities it serves through inclusive entrepreneurship, today announced the appointment of Kurt Faustin, founder of The Dropout Academy, as the new Executive Director of EforAll’s Roxbury community, where he will oversee programs in the Roxbury and surrounding communities.

Faustin brings to EforAll eight years of experience in streamlining systems, training teams and clients, public speaking, and cultivating collaborative environments for others to succeed. Faustin attended Lasell University and Northeastern University and is the founder of The Dropout Academy, an
organization designed to provide systematic solutions that empower students and professionals to better manage stress, increase productivity, and achieve impact-driven goals.

“I am thrilled to join an organization, like EforAll, with a mission to create a positive, supportive environment that provides entrepreneurs with the ingredients to launch and grow, successfully,” said Faustin. “I look forward to nurturing the inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem EforAll has created in the Roxbury community.

Last month Faustin, along with 20 other changemakers, was appointed by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu to Boston’s Commission on Black Men & Boys.

“The impact that Kurt’s work has had on students and professionals of various ages is inspiring,” said Lisa Archibald, Regional Director at EforAll. “He will be a great asset to the Roxbury community, and I look forward to seeing what he will help accomplish here at EforAll.”

EforAll Roxbury will be holding its Summer 2022 All Ideas Pitch contest, virtually, on August 18. Local area entrepreneurs with a business idea are invited to learn more and apply.
