Aki Davis joins leadership with 20 years of financial and nonprofit experience 

LOWELL, Mass., Oct. 3, 2023 Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate economic and social impact through inclusive entrepreneurship, today announced the appointment of Aki Davis, former Sheltering Arms controller, as the VP of finance. In his new role, Davis will leverage his accounting, nonprofit, leadership and entrepreneurial experience to oversee financial strategy, efficiency and operations as EforAll continues its national expansion. 

Davis brings 20 years of accounting and finance experience to the organization, 13 of which were dedicated to working with community nonprofits. In his most recent role at Sheltering Arms, Davis managed multi-million dollar budgets, oversaw federal, state, corporate and grant funding, ensured regulatory compliance and fiscal management, and strategized operating procedures. He previously oversaw accounting operations as the grants and contracts manager at Clark Atlanta University and served as the accounting manager at Georgia State University Foundation.

Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Delaware State University and is an entrepreneur himself founding #LegDay, an athleisure brand, in Atlanta, GA. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, he now resides in Chattahoochee Hills, GA with his wife and three children.
