Partnership aims to drive volunteerism, entrepreneurial support and professional development opportunities
BOSTON – March 28, 2023 – Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate economic and social impact through inclusive entrepreneurship, and the Association of Latino Professionals for America’s (ALPFA) Boston chapter developed a two year partnership to pair ALPFA Boston members looking for professional and career building opportunities with EforAll’s Spanish speaking entrepreneurs seeking culturally responsive coaching and support.
“The ability to leverage ALPFA Boston’s broad professional network to help support our Spanish speaking entrepreneurs will be an empowering experience for these aspiring business owners who may lack access to the mentorship and support needed in their native language,” said Meralis T. Hood, CEO at EforAll. “Entrepreneurship is crucial to keeping our communities vibrant, healthy and growing, and we are grateful to ALPFA Boston for their support in this mission.”
ALPFA Boston, the leading Latinx professional association in Massachusetts, has a local membership of over 10,000 Latinx professionals. Through this partnership, ALPFA Boston will support recruitment of language-diverse volunteers, including mentors and specialists, and provide expertise and networking opportunities to help EforAll’s Spanish language program, EparaTodos, better serve and expand its culturally relevant programming. In support of ALPFA Boston’s entrepreneurship community, EforAll will offer engagement opportunities through panel discussions, curriculum delivery and other networking and professional development opportunities.
“This partnership will have a great impact on the professional opportunities available for our talented ALPFA Boston members, who have so much to offer the Latinx community,” said Isis Ortiz-Belton, President of ALPFA Boston and VP, Commercial Banking at Eastern Bank. “We look forward to collaborating with EforAll to accelerate the upward mobility of Latinx entrepreneurs across the Commonwealth.”
