Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) is a fast-growing, non-profit organization that offers innovative entrepreneurial and business ownership programs for free to the areas we serve.

EforAll began in 2010 as the Merrimack Valley Sandbox, a project launched under the University of Massachusetts-Lowell with initial funding from the Deshpande Foundation. We first started working in the Massachusetts cities of Lowell and Lawrence to build a thriving, community-based entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Since our beginning, we have grown and proudly have offices in New Bedford/Fall River, Holyoke, Lawrence, Lowell, Lynn, and Cape Cod. We have also started expanding nationally with our first office opening in the greater Denver area in Colorado with plans to expand and open more locations in Massachusetts and nationwide.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Donor Experience Manager with the drive to assist the Director of Advancement, and the Executive Directors of all our sites, develop and implement a donor stewardship and relations program ensuring an excellent donor experience as they invest in EforAll’s mission and vision. 

If you are someone who likes to work in a diverse environment where you, the Donor Experience Manager, coordinates communications and engagement opportunities and can manage our donor program, this position may be the right fit for you. 

We are also looking for someone who will provide the administrative support to ensure the accuracy of our new fundraising database (Raisers Edge NXT) and the production of management reports that will greatly help us in our decision making and annual planning.

The successful Donor Experience Manager is someone who loves to interact and work directly with high impact donors and volunteers by ensuring effective “high touch” cultivation and stewardship. S/he is also well organized, meticulous, flexible, able to adapt quickly, able to handle confidential materials, and has a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND DETAILS

Our ideal person will possess a bachelor’s degree with three to five years of experience in non-profit fundraising; knowledge and experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT; other Blackbaud products or similar fundraising database.   

Proficiency in Google Suite tools (email, Google calendar, Google sheets, shared drives, etc.). And comfortable with Microsoft Office applications. 

OUR PAY

Our annual salary range for this position starts at $45,000-$55,000

YOUR WORK HOURS

Regular work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, M-F. Some weekends and evenings required in support of annually scheduled fundraising events

THE JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION: Donor Experience Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Advancement

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Advancement (DOA), the Donor Experience Manager is responsible for ensuring that all donors have an excellent experience when they invest in EforAll’s mission. Working in alignment with the CEO, Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team, the ideal candidate will work directly with high impact donors and volunteers by ensuring effective “high touch” cultivation and stewardship within EforAll’s headquarters located in Lowell, as well as across all EforAll Program sites across Massachusetts, Colorado, and the country as we grow. This position is based in Lowell.

The Donor Experience Manager is a key position in EforAll’s strategic national growth and may offer the opportunity to advance within the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and implement a donor stewardship and relations program to ensure EforAll investors have a positive philanthropic experience. 
  • Coordinate communications and engagement opportunities for donors and volunteers by: 
    • Maintaining a communications calendar, supporting EforAll Executive Directors requests for fundraising materials, and other related fundraising activities across multiple program sites. 
    • Drafting copy for the organization’s quarterly donor e-news, work with Marketing to ensure donor email, mailing lists are accurate, as well as Program staff to ensure EforAll events and donor/volunteer opportunities are included. 
  • Manage EforAll’s leadership donor program, as well as provide support to board members and mentor giving campaigns (by site) annually. 
  • Support the design and implementation of successful cultivation, solicitation, and recognition events. 
  • Provide the administrative support necessary to ensure the accuracy of our new fundraising database and quality production of management reports to inform the organization and departmental decision making, including but not limited to: 
    • Preparing relevant fundraising reports from Raiser’s Edge NXT, building queries, and assist in prospect research/moves management as needed. 
    • Distribution of weekly gift reports to Program staff, gift processing, and generating tax receipts for donors (reviewing information for accuracy) in a timely manner. 
    • Work with DOA and Finance Department on weekly/monthly reconciliation process in preparation for weekly/monthly fundraising progress meetings with the Executive Leadership Team and program staff. 
  • Assist Director of Advancement with department needs, including supporting Advancement events, maintaining a communications calendar, while aiding EforAll Executive Directors requests for fundraising materials and other related fundraising activities. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising. 
  • Knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, Blackbaud products, or similar fundraising database. 
  • Proficiency in Google Suite tools (email, Google calendar, Google sheets, shared drives, etc.). Comfort with Microsoft Office applications.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Organized, meticulous, and flexible with strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines 
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing priorities 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (online and off) 
  • Comfort working with a small, focused team in a busy office environment. 
  • Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion 
  • Professionalism with all staff, volunteers and community stakeholders 
  • Commitment to providing excellent donor stewardship and service 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in working in a non-profit environment focused on small business development in underrepresented communities 

COMPENSATION

  • The annual salary range is $45,000-$55,000. EforAll also offers generous (paid) time off, full benefits (health and dental) as well as opportunities for professional development.
