Atlanta Film Project is Rewriting the Script

For filmmaker and story consultant Spade Robinson, creativity was never the problem — structure was. After years of working with powerhouse organizations like the Sundance Institute, Film Independent, and HBO, Spade realized something was missing for up-and-coming screenwriters: a clear, supportive path from story idea to market-ready script. That realization became the foundation for the Atlanta Film Project, a full-service story consulting and education company dedicated to helping writers, filmmakers, and organizations develop their stories with professional polish and purpose.

When Spade joined the EforAll Business Accelerator in 2025, her goal was clear — to transform a thriving creative practice into a sustainable business model. “I wanted to strengthen the business infrastructure of Atlanta Film Project,” Spade explained. Through the program, she gained exactly what she needed: mentorship, accountability, and the tools to connect creativity with business strategy. Her favorite part of the experience was the mentor team, a perfect balance of expertise and empathy. “It was like having a personalized advisory board guiding me through every stage of growth,” she shared.

The biggest shift came in mindset. She began to look at the “bare bones” of the business — pricing, partnerships, and profitability. She dug into the financial foundation while refining her messaging. This process gave her confidence and clarity.

Since graduating, the Atlanta Film Project has launched an expanded workbook series and a new book release, while streamlining its operations for greater impact. “EforAll helped me turn a creative consulting practice into a scalable business model,” Spade said.
